Fantastic opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse at a beautiful facility located near Canton, NC
Shift: FT positions available on 7a-7p, 3p-11p and 7p-7a.
To provide professional nursing care to residents and follow established policies and procedures of the facility. Assist supervisors in care and management of the unit. Provide residents with quality care. Check rooms routinely to ensure residents are being provided the care requested. Chart, assess and make observations, order supplies and equipment. Carry out instructions of supervisors. Answer questions from residents, families and nursing service personnel. Maintain unit and use of supplies and equipment. As a Charge Nurse, you are delegated to the authority, responsibility and accountability to carry out assigned duties. The LPN Charge Nurse must be a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of N.C.
Must possess leadership ability and the willingness to cooperate with other department heads and personnel.
Must be in good mental and physical condition and have the ability to organize, plan and direct nursing care.
Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm and be able to handle residents regardless of the physical or mental handicaps.
