HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Education Coordinator in Houston, Texas
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES – Plan, organize, manage, and track training and educational programs for HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Education programs. Responsible for ensuring that the new hire requirements are accurately documented, maintained in files and remains confidential. Also responsible for managing and processing payroll for StaRN students and Instructors, Identify training needs for all participants in the Nurse Residence Program and acts as a liaison between HealthTrust Workforce Solutions , facilities, and new employee. This position is responsible for scheduling, training, and support to new StaRN participants as well as facility contacts and business owners. Answer incoming calls; provide customer support, answer requests for Healthstream, nurse competency, Staff PM, Meditech. Assign ACLS & BLS per request, Provide technical support for all callers when logging on to virtual classes. Pull email requests from Track It and respond to them. Maintain knowledge, understanding, and database of HCA and non-HCA facilities and develops and maintains communication and relationships with business owners and customers. Work with education and other team subject matter experts to stay abreast of changes to products, processes, or technology. As a highly visible department representative, this person consistently demonstrates a strong service commitment by continually striving to meet and exceed customer expectation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO :
Answer internal and external calls providing customer support
Provide customer support for all databases
Assigns E-learning courses as requested
Ensures new employees onboarding process and set up
Communicates (written/verbal) with business owners
Must have excellent communication and organizational skills
Data entry into various education databases including StaffPm, Healthstream, StaffRx,
Coordination of conference calls, meeting, and coordinated travel arrangements as requested
Answers inquires or refers callers/visitors to appropriate individuals or training centers
Compiles reports from data and existing records
Gathers information and develops summaries as requested
Assist other staff as requested
Serves on HealthTrust Workforce Management Solutions Disaster team and participates in all activities related to readiness, planning, and implementation
Conducts post-offer, pre-employment background screenings in a timely manner, promptly reporting to the appropriate persons any background data needing special attention and handling
Responsible for pre-employment drug testing in accordance with regulations and company policy.
Files employee data/information in a prescribed manner, making sure that all files are complete, current, and accurate.
Maintains databases for all StaRN credentials
Ensures copies of proper licenses and other required documents are present in employee’s files prior to employee starting
Completes compilation of new hire hard-copy files; audits for accuracy and completeness
Ensures that all required documentation is complete in all employee files and completes audits as needed
Attend meeting as assigned and reports on actions
Any other duties as assigned

High school diploma or GED required
Associate degree in business administration, Education, or completion of Human Resources program preferred
Three years of human resource or education experience in a healthcare setting preferred
