WHAT YOU’LL DO:
The Lead Credentialing Specialist will oversee the consistent application and credentialing verification processes for assigned Divisions. The lead must also serve as the HealthTrust liaison between HCA facilities Human Resources, Medical Staff Office personnel, Dependent Professionals, and external customers. This position will be responsible for continuously reviewing workflows and implementing process improvements. The lead is responsible for monitoring established metrics for DHP Credentialing Specialists and ensuring proper tools are provided to meet production goals. Ensures rapport is established with all facilities in assigned divisions as well as with division-specific agency contacts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Serves as primary contact to all HCA HR and MSO personnel regarding the DHP Credentialing Process
Establishes relationships with key personnel at all agencies within assigned divisions
Closely monitors and ensures high compliance percentage for assigned divisions
Responsible for assigning all initial and renewal applications for DHPs requesting access to HCA facilities
Monitors and ensures DHP credentialing specialists high production and quality standards
Maintains effective communication with all Division leadership via scheduled calls to ensure uniformity with the credentialing process
Works closely with Division on annual review/revision of mandatory division requirements
Works closely with facilities in preparation of and during all QRS and JC audits
Maintains accurate records of all files in Staff PM; records all activities as applicable in the diary
Ensures all files are processed via a paperless process using Adobe Professional
Commits all DHP completed files to OnBase Imaging System
Communicates applicable updates and notices to agencies
Creates ad hoc reports as requested
Maintains privacy and confidentiality (intentional or unintentional) of company and employee information in verbal, written, and electronic form
Limits access to all information to job-related on a need to know basis
Participates in special projects as needed and performs other duties as assigned.
Notifies DHP Credentialing Manager of problem-causing trends with vendors on items needing attention
