The Program Assistant provides operation and logistical support for training and educational programs for HealthTrust Workforce Solutions. Under the direction of the Senior Program Professional, assures accurate and timely processes for program cohorts. Updates course materials, schedules, requirements. Provides support for problem resolution by researching accordingly. Helps maintain the accuracy of internal, dashboards and folders. This position serves as the primary liaison with learners and internal departments.

SUPERVISOR – Regional Program Director



  • Serves as primary contact and support to Program Professional and Logistic Coordinator

  • Collaborates with credentialing and onboarding teams to ensure completion of learners onboarding

  • Ensures accuracy of all databases for learner credentials

  • Data entry into various education databases including Workforce2.0, Lawson and SharePoint

  • Ensures requirements are met for program compliance

  • Assists with Logistics operations; creating/updating schedules, ordering/tracking of equipment

  • Communicates with learners, internal departments, and client stakeholders.

  • Coordination of conference calls, meeting, and on site visits, when needed

  • Answers internal and external calls providing customer support

  • Communicates applicable updates and notices to teams

  • Travels to cohort sites to provide support, as necessary

  • Attend meetings, as assigned, and reports on actions

  • Maintains privacy and confidentiality (intentional or unintentional) of company and employee information in verbal, written, and electronic form

  • Serves as primary contact for all issues regarding the learner’s onboarding process

  • Participates in special projects, as needed, and performs other duties as assigned

  • Serves on HWS Disaster team and participates in all activities related to readiness, planning, and implementation

  • Position requires ability to fly on airplanes, be properly licensed and able to rent and drive an automobile, and work in diverse office settings. Moderate (10% - 20%) travel will be required.


  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Associate degree in business administration, Education, or completion of Human Resources program preferred


  • Three years of human resource or education experience in a healthcare setting preferred

  • Relevant education may substitute experience requirement


  • Position requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching.

  • Position requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment.

  • Requires normal range of hearing, verbal communication and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriately to perform job responsibilities.

  • Work will be stressful at times. Staff must remain flexible and available to provide staffing assistance for any/all disaster or emergency situations.

  • Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Schedule is subject to change.
