GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES –The Receptionist demonstrates good communication skills, good typing and computer skills, ability to prioritize tasks, displays good organizational skills, and the ability to integrate into departments.
SUPERVISOR – HR Business Partner
SUPERVISES – None
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO :
Answers the telephone; identifies agency and self; speaks clearly and in a moderate tone of voice; addresses the caller by name when known.
Screens all incoming calls and transfers callers to the appropriate individual or department.
Takes messages when necessary ensuring that all information is correct and forwarded promptly to the appropriate individual.
Greets customers in a professional, friendly and courteous manner
Greets visitors and employees, determines their needs and provides effective assistance.
Forwards calls appropriately and takes accurate messages for return
Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned

Excellent customer service skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi task and prioritize
Ability to work well independently and within a team environment
Proficiency with Microsoft office products such as Outlook, Word and Excel
Maintains working area and equipment in accordance with environmental and safety regulations
EDUCATION – High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required
EXPERIENCE – -1-3 Years Front Desk or Receptionist experience required
